Secondo una prima ricostruzione, l&#8217;uomo era impegnato a scaricare materiale da un camion con un muletto quando, per cause ancora da accertare, \u00e8 rimasto schiacciato da un pallet contenente pannelli fotovoltaici. L&#8217;operaio \u00e8 stato trasportato al Pronto soccorso dell&#8217;ospedale di Lentini dove \u00e8 morto a causa delle gravi ferite riportate.
